Conga composer merge PDF not appearing Adobe ESign agreement page

New Here ,
Sep 01, 2021 Sep 01, 2021

The conga merge preview generates the PDF successfully. The Adobe agreement is initiated, and I can see the recipient, message is passed. But the conga composer PDF is not in the "Files" section of the agreement.

Hi,

Conga uses salesforce attachments whereas Adobe sign uses Salesforce files. Hence in adobe sign settings under custom settings, you will need to mention 'Attachments' in this parameter 'Agreement Document Storage Type' so that Adobe sign utilises attachments. This worked for me and suggested by Adobe support

i don't have access to that salesforce org anymore. It should be Salesforce org > setup > custom settings > adobe settings > there should be a parameter 'Agreement Document Storage Type' to set the value as 'Attachments'. I attached a random image from google search

i think you are editing the custom settings' field. you should be clicking 'Manage' button alongside Adobe sign settings to see the values of that field?

Sorry. With this settings change, i remember adobe sign will use the attachments and not the files due to conga generating attachments (not files). if you need to use the files in adobe, i think you need to force a way in conga to use the files instead of attachments. or create a custom process to migrate the attachments to content document objects if no other way?
