Hi, I received a job offer via Workday which I have to sign via e-Sign. I clicked on e-Sign and signed the job contract, but Workday still has the task as "Review"; the same happens with another doc (insurance policy). Meaning the tasks are still somehow pending from my side, and since Workday doesn't have the task as completed, I can't even download a copy of the signed job contract, etc.
Ah, and when I open the task again by clicking on Review, and try to sign it again by clicking on e-Sign by Adobe Sign, Adobe shows that the doc has already been signed, in red. And then there's a "Close" button.
I contacted the company but haven't gotten any response yet.
TY.
Hi @fhbc,
Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble.
From the screenshots and your description, the signing in Adobe Sign is already complete — that’s why you see the red “This document has already been signed” message when reopening it. The remaining “Review” status in Workday means the workflow hasn’t been finalized there.
Here’s what you can try:
Go back to Workday’s Inbox task for the signed document.
After you’ve signed in to Adobe Sign and are redirected back to Workday,
Got it worked out now. There's nothing much we can do on our side. The only way out was HR resetting the process.
If you already have an Adobe Account with the same email address of your Workday Account, then you could, theoretically, get the signed version of the docs and send them to the HR. However, the company in question needed to process to be completely done via Workday, so, even though you might have the signed doc, that Workday-Workflow has to work and be clean, and you have to submit

Hi @fhbc,

Here’s what you can try:
Go back to Workday’s Inbox task for the signed document.
After you’ve signed in to Adobe Sign and are redirected back to Workday, click “Submit” (or “OK”) on the Workday task screen. If that is the workflow in your case.
This step is required for Workday to register the signature as complete.
If you can’t see the “Submit” button, try:
Logging out of Workday and back in.
Clearing your browser cache or trying another browser (Chrome/Edge/Firefox).
Unfortunately, until Workday marks the task as complete, you won’t be able to download the signed version from Workday, but the document is signed and stored in Adobe Sign. Your HR team can retrieve it from the Adobe Sign account linked to your Workday process.

Hi Tariq, thanks for the response. My problem is I'm not seeing the Ok/Submit button. I'm in contact with the company, checking why the heck the workflow/task doesn't go through, but they haven't said a thing yet. But you're right. Adobe rightfully recognises the doc as already signed. It's Workday that seems to be messing up then.
Thank you very much.

Hello, have you fixed this issue? I have the same issue as yours.

No, I haven't. However, someone on Reddit said, I should tell HR to try resetting the e-signatures and retrigger the flow. Again, something the HR folks gotta do. I don't think there's anything the candidate itself can do.
On another note, when I open developer tools and check the console, after having clicked on "E-sign by Adobe Sign", I get the console error shown in the pic.

Hi fhbc,
Thank you for the information.
This seems to be an issue with the Workday workflow. However, the document is already signed. Since you used Acrobat Sign to sign it, please check if you can find it under the Completed folder in your Acrobat Sign account.
As the document was received via Workday, use the email address used for their Acrobat Sign account.
You can also contact the sender or the HR from the company you received the offer from. They will be able to confirm.
If you are using the same email address for Workday as you use to sign in here on the community, we suggest you check with your Acrobat Sign enterprise expert team. We see that you have an Acrobat Sign enterprise service plan. You may contact them using the steps in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/45kQVda.
Feel free to let us know if you need any help.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

If you already have an Adobe Account with the same email address of your Workday Account, then you could, theoretically, get the signed version of the docs and send them to the HR. However, the company in question needed to process to be completely done via Workday, so, even though you might have the signed doc, that Workday-Workflow has to work and be clean, and you have to submit the taks via Workday.
So, they have to restart the process, the other parties sign the docs again and then they come to your Workday Tax Inbox again, and then you can sign them.
