How do I prevent the document history page?

When I send out a PDF for signatures, Adobe Sign adds an "Adobe Sign Document History" page to the end of my PDF. This is unsightly for technical reports and similar documents, but removing that page in Acrobat invalidates the esignatures. Is there a way to prevent this page from getting added in the first place?

Hello Evon,

We do have a feature in business level accounts to not attach the Audit report at end of signed document but is not available in Individual accounts.

Regards,

-Rijul

This does not happen when I use Adobe Sign. Can you create a test file that shows this behavior?

I did a little more digging, and apparently this is only an issue for the copy that gets emailed to me after everyone has signed. The copy stored on the cloud does not exhibit this behavior.

The email looks something like this:

And the last page appended to the end of the PDF looks something like this:

Which explains things as I primarily use my enterprise account.

Rijul,

Thanks for the follow up.

The business account is 3 times as expensive as the individual account. It does not make sense to me to increase my expenses in such way for just that feature.

Is there an alternative?

Thanks

This did not happen in EchoSign with the emailed copies. For something that is supposed to make our business process more streamlined, having to add another step to go back to AdobeSign to download a copy without the history page is ridiculous. It is even more ridiculous to tell us that we need to buy a business account at 3x the cost just to get back to where we were before Adobe made our lives "easier" with their "new and improved" version of EchoSign.

Rijul,

Your answer is helpful; however, I have an individual account and I don't like all this history tacked on to the last page of my signed agreements.  Is there a work around without upgrading?  It seems like as an individual I'm being penalized that I can't take off the history information.  Thank you.

Hi Michael....I have re-created this problem using adobe sign and acrobat DC. Both 'send for signature' formats add signature pages to the end of the document, and the adobe sign format placed a large signature field onto the first page. Shown below:

This is the absolute WORST. Can anyone tell why this happens? No matter what I do Acrobat ends up creating a 2nd page for additional signatures EVEN THOUGH there is PLENTY of room around the signature box. I have been trying to figure out why this happens for weeks....often creating 10 versions of the same document until it just magically fits both signatures on the same page. Maddening. Simple maddening.

I am also having this same issue. I have 2 extra pages appended to my final document: one is doc history, another is doc signature.

I'm just doing some trials with the digital signatures using Acrobat Pro DC and Adobe Sign.  I can't seem to figure out how to stop the audit sheet from being added to my files.  Has adobe or anyone figured out a way to correct this??  If I can't get this resolved I will need to explore other options for digital signatures.  Please advise.
