How to add a receiver once a document is signed

Community Beginner ,
Feb 17, 2024 Feb 17, 2024

1. Person A fills out a form and asks person B to sign it

2. Person B signs it

3. Person A and person B receive a copy of the signed document.

How do I include a person C in step 3?

Person C plays bo role in the decision or the signature process, they do not need to approve anything, they do not need to acknowledge anything,  They just need to automatically receive the signed document once person B signs it.

Does anyone know what person A needs to do to achieve this outcome?

Hi ICT Officer,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

You may add the person C's email in CC field. So, once the document is signed, Person C will get the copy of the final document.

For more information refer to the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/kb/how-to-copy-an-email-address-in-a-transaction-adobe-sign.html

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Thanks for your reply – I appreciate it.

But person C does not need to see the original “please sign this” email, nor do they need to see any “reminder: please sign this” emails, because they’d see hundreds – it would be like spamming them unnecessarily.

All they need is an email with a copy of the signed document – IF it is ever signed.

They never need to see any other emails – just the one with the signed document, because it’s their job to take the next step after it is signed.

Is there any way to achieve this with Adobe Sign?

Just did a real-life test where I'm Person A, I sent a document to Person B and I cc'd Person C.

BOTH Person B and C received an email saying the document has been sent for signing.
