Incorrect entries auto-populate in Adobe Sign

Hi all. I am hoping someone can help me. I often send agreements to customers using Adobe Acrobat Sign.

Sometimes, people fill it out incorrectly. They might put the name of their business in the "Print Name" field, instead of their name. I will then re-send it to them, and they almost always tell me that the incorrect entry auto populates - they cannot edit it. I can tell that the incorrect entry is saved to their account. The only fix is to sent it again and change the name of the field from "Full name" to a generic text input.

Can anyone tell me how to help them delete the incorrect entry that's saved to their account?

Hi default91fy8o9of2fa,

Thank you for reaching out.

This is something that needs to be checked. Could you please share a screen recording from one of the recipients of how the text auto-populates when filling out the document? Also, what happens when trying to edit?

Share a sample of the document that you are sending to users. We will try to replicate this behavior on our end.

Let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I am having the same problem. When ever I do an e-sign, the auto population is wrong. How do I edit the cache so that the email and name correspond correctly, and auto fill?

Hi Wendy363851106668,

Thank you for reaching out.

As mentioned above, when you fill the document the auto-fill pop up shows wrong information. Is that correct?

If yes, please check if auto fil enabled on browser. Try clearing the cache and cookies for the browser. Use the new incognito window to fill the document.

Let us know how the information that appears is wrong. Share some sample screenshot for a better understanding.

Did you try editing or removeing the information on Auto-fill popups?

Thanks,

Meenakshi
