Signature workflow where 2 of X signatures are required

I have a signature workflow that requires that 2 out of 3 signatories must sign a document.

For example, consider a workflow where you submit a contract for signing to Peter, Mary and Jennifer. In this example, any two of them can sign the contract. We do not require all three people to sign.

How can I achieve this?

Hi timothyd41616933,

Thank you for reaching out.

As mentioned above, you need only 2 siganture out of 3.  We have checked your account and with the current plan the option is not available.

You may achieve this workflow using the Adobe Acrobat Workflow feature. For more information, refer to the following help document: https://adobe.ly/48U1x12

Hope the information helps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,

I do not understand the response. We have an Adobe Sign Enterprise account. Please detail how we could get the desired outcome using Custom Workflows. I haven't been able to achieve this with custom workflows.

Thanks!

Hi timothyd41616933,

Sorry about the delay in response.

If you have an Acrobat Sign enterprise plan, check the Workflow feature. Refer to the following help document for detailed information: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/sign/adv-user/send-workflow/overview.html?linkId=100000249807229

Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Meenakshi,

Thank you for your response, but I would not consider this a Correct Answer.

I've reviewed your hyperlink, and it does not answer how I can add a step to a workflow requiring 2 out of 3 signatories must sign a document. I wish you would spend more than a few seconds on reviewing my requirements.

If someone in the community knows the answer (or a workaround), I would greatly appreciate your input!

This is explained in the link, specifically under "Enable template defined signature placement".

Forgive me, Jarrad. I don't see how this relates to the example I've provided. Can you please explain how this allows me to achieve the desired outcome?

It's talking about 'Co-signer' signatures working as optional fields, and indexed as such in the workflow designer. This means you can have 2 signatories in the workflow, where only one is actually necessary (Index 1 and 2).
