Possibility of multiple image anchors in one experience?

Hey,

I am looking to see if there is a work around within Aero that would allow me to have multiple image anchors, each with an accompanying asset that triggers individual audio when tapped.

The context is an illustrated storybook. Each trigger illustration has an accompanying audio file story which I would like to be played to viewer when viewed through the app. I have been using a disc asset anchored to the illustration as the behaviour trigger (play audio when tapped). So far the user interaction goes:

-User views illustration through Aero

-gold disc is viewed floating above illustration

-User taps disc asset

-Relevant audio plays

So far, so good. But I would like users to be able to repeat this process with multiple illustrations without having to exit the experience to enter a new one, simply turning the page and viewing their next chosen illustration (and its related assets) through their camera . Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi @Hannah Mosley as of today, there is no multiple image anchor support. Many people want it, and I know it's useful for scenarios like book and gallery shows, etc.. So I will advocate for it as a big feature and relay this request to the team. Thanks!

I've also been searching for a way to do this and after much experimentation have come up with somewhat of a solution ... I have not tested with an image anchor yet.

1. create one scene ... when happy, hit Share -> Share Link

2. After the project is saved and stored -> copy the link.

3. Create a second scene. Add an object and add a tap behaviour. Set to Open URL.

4. In the URL paste the link to the first scene.

5. Preview this scene and tap the object. The second scene opens.

it works for anyone given the link. In theory it should work for image anchor. Should also work if exporting the scene but yet to try.

Hi Kirk is there any sign of this feature being implemented?  I have also designed a book and I would like to move seamlessly from any page to another and have aero pick up the images as I go and load the experimences from a variety of targets.

Hi, Tamzin. As you can see the last official response was last October. I have seen nothing else on this. Without multiple images being displayed, Aero is useless for AR representation in the publishing/graphical world. I myself would like to make a newspaper for school with many AR objects seamlessly pooping up. It baffles me as to why Adobe doesn't make room for such a feature.
