What 3D model export from Maya can I use in Aero mobile?

Up until the recent change in Aero mobile, I have been able to export models with texture and animation from Maya as .fbx and important them easily into the Aero mobile app. However, that's no longer possible.

Any solutions on what model type can be easily exported from Maya and retain texture/color as well as animation in order to use for AR?

I'm specifically looking for an easy export from Maya because I use this to teach a class of beginners! If we can avoid installing new plugins that would be ideal!

Hello! And thanks for your support of Aero. Sorry you are having trouble with the .fbx import on mobile. Here are some instructions for how to package files for import. In the meantime, have you tried using the desktop app to import .fbx?

I am not very familiar with the desktop app. How can i use the desktop to
create a site specific AR? i.e. I need my model to correspond directly with
a physical space that I have designed. Can the desktop create AR files that
can then be used on the mobile app to take on the go?

I imported my .fbx to the Aero desktop and was able to view the textures and animations there. I then exported that file as  .real so that I could open it from the mobile app, however the file doesn't seem to be working now that I try opening on my phone.

I may be misunderstanding how this is supposed to work. I'd like to minimize any editing within the Aero app since the assets are already created in Maya. I want to use Aero in order to view in AR.
