Allow to change folder location of "Creative Cloud Libraries"

When working with Creative Cloud Libraries, folders are generated in the following locations

  • For windows: [Local WIndows Drive]:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Creative Cloud Libraries\LIBS
  • For MacOS: [Username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Creative Cloud Libraries/LIBS

All files in the Library are downloaded to the local folder, not just the ones you work with.

At the time of writing, these are not movable, they are not creative cloud files and do not follow the preferences when moving your "Creative Cloud Files" folder. When working in an org, these libraries can grow to a large volume (300GB+)

If these folders could be set in preferences to be moved to a different location (like an external drive, network drive, or cloud drive) that could help mitigate storage issues on laptops and small storage PCs

OMG - yes!! We are a team of six... if we could put our CC Library local folder on the network, we could ALL use the SAME location. Local files would be saved ONCE in ONE location... instead of having these same files saved on SIX individual computers. I'm hesitant to even let our IT team know that this is how it works... they might just say "kill the library." Adobe could always give us the choice of which libraries we saved locally on our individual computers. For example, I'd have everyone save our Corporate Branding library locally... but there are SO MANY libraries with large files that we don't need saved on everyone's individual computers. With hard drive space such a critical component of using this software, it's so frustrating that Adobe is forcing us to waste it.
