Hi @Pat24987542hdwc , It’s good that Adobe removed the CMYK Color Mode from the theme creation page—as Sheena points out CMYK colors cannot currently be spec’d or accurately color managed with HTML/CSS coding, so the CMYK values that were listed were not accurate for any typical CMYK press conditions, and could be quite far off.
If you save your themes as Lab Color Mode, you can easily get color managed conversions with any of the Adobe print apps. In Photoshop if you apply a Lab color to a CM

Is there a way to display the LR Classic homepage so that it shows only the titles of threads? Or some other way to compress the page display vertically? I'm looking at a lot of wasted white space.

Hi-
Is there anything resembling a tutorial or mini-manual that describes how to use features of this app/tool, other than creating and selecting themes? I've seen some where the presenter talks about what they could accomplish, but never how. Think landscapes.
Thanks.

I'm looking for something that tells me how to apply the app to one of my images to make the color changes I want. Everything I've looked at tells me how good the app is, and then, now go use it. There are some steps missing.

If you go to this link https://www.photocascadia.com/creative-applications-of-color-theory-in-landscape-photography/ , and watch the video, you will see how the photographer put the Adobe Color CC color wheel to use with her images. That is, changing specific colors, finding color harmonies, and other things without going to themes. That's what I want to do. Unfortunately, the originator of the video doesn't explain how, in the workflow, to apply the application to a specific image and then save the settings so I can put them in the image. Will this help you? Thanks for staying involved.

Why can't I change my color theme to CMYK when I edit it? The choice is no longer available.

CMYK values are not accurate in browsers, when converted between RGB/CMYK, so we have removed the option till the time browser have support for fully supporting it.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I will just have to convert manually. I hope you can get the feature restored at some point.

If you save your themes as Lab Color Mode, you can easily get color managed conversions with any of the Adobe print apps. In Photoshop if you apply a Lab color to a CMYK document it will automatically convert into the document’s assigned CMYK space.
In InDesign you can leave the colors as Lab and make color managed conversions to CMYK on an Export to PDF by setting a CMYK Destination in the Output tab. If you use the Lab swatches in a document, InDesign’s Separation Preview will show the managed CMYK values for the document’s assigned CMYK profile, or you can select all of the Lab swatches and convert them to the document CMYK profile via Swatch Options.

i agree it is not worth having inaccurate colors and it makes total sense to me. However, Adobe must make CMYK its top priority. It is nothing to be taken lightly CMYK is huge for us which I realize Adobe knows but this situation is much more important than anything else.

Adobe can’t control web standards–currently there is no way to define an HTML/CSS color as CMYK or, more importantly profiled CMYK. It really is quite easy to get color managed CMYK values from theme Lab colors inside of the Adobe apps.
