Can't connect with Facebook/Instagram for social media

Did everything what is required, as described in the video:

- Transformed my IG account to Business

- Removed Adobe Express from FB

- IG and FB are connected

- Connection with IG through FB ---> fails

 

What else, the connections still fails (everything's fine with linkedin and tiktok).

It has also failed in Chrome, Edge and Incognito mode

Here is the linked accounts section, I have logged out and back in again, but it still will not connect. It keeps sending me in circles when I try to log in.

Hi, thank you for this. I added the accounts back on Facebook, but when I go to connect again through Express, it still does not work, I have attached some screenshots to show the process.

Could you please share a screenshot of the “Linked Accounts” section in your Facebook account settings? This will help our engineering team verify the setup and assist you more efficiently. In the meantime, could you please try:

 

  • Logging out of Adobe Express and Facebook, then logging back in.

  • Using a different browser or an incognito window.

Thank you for your help. Neither Instagram nor Facebook are on there now, as I removed them yesterday, and they are unable to reconnect as discussed.

Hi @Jemima2295592579m3,

 

Thanks for the update! Even if you've removed the linked accounts, the “Linked Accounts” section will still be available in your Facebook settings — it may just appear empty.

To reconnect your Instagram account to Facebook, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Facebook (desktop or mobile app).

  2. Click on the menu icon (☰), then go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.

  3. Scroll down and select Accounts Center (under "Meta").

  4. Tap on Linked Accounts.

  5. Select Add Accounts and follow the prompts to reconnect your Instagram Business Account to your Facebook Page.

Make sure your Instagram is a Business Account and that it's correctly connected to your Facebook Page within the Meta Business Suite.

Once that’s done, return to Adobe Express and try linking your accounts again. Let us know if you need help at any step — we’re here to support you!

Can you suggest any other solutions? This cannot be a standalone issue. Twitter works absolutely fine, but FB and Insta are not reponding at all, and just keep sending me in a loop.

Thank you for your reply, I have already done this and it was unsuccessful. I am now completely cut off from linking facebook or Instagram to Adobe Express.

Hi @Jemima2295592579m3 ,

 

Please check the following:

  1. Instagram must be a Business Account (not personal or Creator).
    → Instagram > Settings > Account > Switch to Business.

  2. Instagram must be linked to a Facebook Page you manage.
    → Facebook > Page Settings > Linked Accounts.

  3. Check permissions in Meta Business Suite:
    → Go to Business Integrations, remove Adobe Express, then reconnect and allow all permissions.

  4. Reconnect in Adobe Express:
    → Settings > Manage Connections > Reconnect using Facebook login.
