Can't Move or Size Shapes Anymore - BUG!!!!

I cannot move shapes by dragging them anymore, and I cannot size them either.  They can be moved with Shift - Arrow but not by dragging.  This is in both Safari and Chrome.  And it's been a couple of weeks now, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!

I understand your frustration @scm28 but this isn't behaviour experienced by everyone, so first it has to be explained. Is there something different about your workflow in the last two weeks that is creating a problem? Have you recently cleared your cache and cookies - honestly, this one action solves many problems and I do it all the time. Is it on all projects or only certain projects, all shapes or only certain shapes? Could you possibly do a screen recording of the problem happening? 

The more information you provide the better to help you find a solution.

I clearned my cache and cookies.  I also tried it on Safari with the same problem.  Trying Safari maybe showed the source of the bug - it said the image is "locked" and since I never locked it I suspect something is triggering the locking.  Another clue is that it might only be applicable to shapes and icons - I placed another design asset on my canvas and was able to size (by sizing it I mean grabbing a corner) and move it around (by selecting it with the cursor and dragging it).

@thejanebradbury my answer was marked "correct" but what I did, failed to solve the problem.  I was trying to give more feedback on what might possibly be wrong and where the bug is.

I marked as correct because as yet it's not behaviour that can be replicated and you were able to move other shapes. Were you using a template at all? Or is this on a design you created from scratch? Is it still happening with every project? Is it possible to do a screen recording of it happening?

Also having this issue. I cann't change teh size or location with my mouse when dropping an image or shape onto a new layer above my video.

I can change both size and location of objects by holding shift or cntrl along with direction keys.

Any solution for this?

Welcome to the community! We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please let us know the platform you're on? Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?
