Downloaded Adobe Express graphic is blurry

Community Beginner ,
Jul 18, 2022 Jul 18, 2022

I created a flyer in Adobe Express and all my pictures look crisp on the desktop site but when I download it as jpeg or png the image is pixelated. It is a 600x400 image and my images are photos from lightroom. Not sure if that is causing the issue and I need to resize those images or what? Just not sure why it is crisp and looks great in the desktop app and crappy once downloaded.

I forgot to mention, please make sure to re-adjust or resize based on your needs or preferences after you've confirmed that the photos are no longer blurry.

I was speaking with an Adobe tech person, because I had this issue of downloading from within Adobe Express into a PDF, and some of my pictures were blurry. After testing her resolution herself she told me to re-upload the photos from within PhotoShop to a separate directory saving them as JPEG files. Then upload them to Adobe Express as the newly saved JPEG. Then increase or resize the file(s) as 4500×8000 or tte maximum. I did this one file at a time to make sure it worked and now each of my b

@Marketing34855741b6ph

A couple of things you could try:

- Download as PDF if that's an option

- Resize the page 2x or higher, then download (note: resize is premium functionality only available to paid users)

Of course this looks grea. How do I delete my last post. I'm still not subscribing. I can't reach someone on the phone to guide me through this. I hate this. Please delete my poster. I didn't know how to do a "private" email so now the info is all over the internet.

Hi

@Sheree292243186hia

,

We're sorry to hear about this. I tried to do the same, but it's working fine. Is it happening with all the photos or a few of them? Make sure your device and app are updated. Did you try signing out and signing in again to check if that helps?

Regards,

Tarun

Hi

@Nicole26154687v9tn

We're sorry to hear about this. Is it happening with all the posts or with just this one? Have you tried using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) to see if it makes a difference? Try clearing the browser's cache and cookies, and let us know if that helps.

The problem still exists. We pay for an professional grade application, and the output quality is incredibly poor. This is one of the most disappointing and unattractive applications I've ever used.

The work around fix is this:  Download your Adobe Express File as a PDF. Open the PDF in Acrobat, click on the menu tab, click save-as, and save it into the folder that you want as a PNG, JPEG, Etc. This will export it in full resolution, no blurriness. It's a little round about but it worked for me.

Hi @StfnDsn

As Tarun requested would it be possible to share screenshots and possibly an example project for us to reproduce the issue?

Thanks,
Dave

I'm having the same issue. I have tried different browsers, resized the image, saved the photo layers as smart objects, etc and all the layers of my image that aren't live text are pixelated in Adobe Express. Including vector smart object logo files. I'm happy to share a link to the project if it helps.Screenshot 2024-07-23 at 1.45.57 PM.png

Why would I need Adobe Express, if I owned PhotoShop?

Hi @Fred32924249z7a7. Great question! While Photoshop is incredibly powerful for advanced editing and design, Adobe Express is designed for speed, simplicity, and ease of use, making it perfect for creating quick, professional-quality content like social media posts, flyers, or presentations. Express also offers built-in templates, one-click tools, and an intuitive interface, which can save time for tasks that don't require the complexity of Photoshop. It's a complementary tool that helps you achieve different goals more efficiently! Thanks^CA

So I've bought adobe express inorder to create printed flyers. When I send the printer my downloaded .png or .pdf they are so blurry that they don't work. I have looked at blurry projects in the help but I haven't been able to slove the problem. I even tried bringing my flyer into photoshop and saving the .png there. Same result.

Hi @Heidi388807250zmk ,

This happens to me too.

At first, I thought this was a glitch, but taking the feedback of so many Adobe community users reporting this in the support forums, I felt like doing a little more research.

Although I am not 100% convinced that this may not be a glitch, I've found that this problem frequently occurs because of how these files are displayed or compressed for Internet use.

In which case, it looks to me as if  the online file compression services are set to a specific standard that doesn't meet the desired expectations seamlessly.

In the case Adobe Creative Cloud services, files are optimized (or enhanced) for faster loading and better storage efficiency (this also appears to be true with documents that are rendered or downloaded directly from the Adobe Document Cloud).

In the case of Adobe Express (which has been designed entirely as an online cloud-based application), it appears as if the desired image quality is compromised, making the resolution of your documents inadequate for clear viewing or printing, (specifically if the original file had a high resolution).

As a rule of thumb, I would recommended to download the original files directly to your computing device before viewing or printing them.

Doing so, you can access the full-quality version, which should resolve any blurriness and ensuring a sharper result.

As per your suggestion. I use the download button and it automatically downloads to my download folder, I’m on a mac.
I try sending the .pdf and/or .png to the printer using mac mail. Is there a different way to download a different way to send it to the printers?
This seems like such a basic thing to use adobe express, shouldn’t this be simple?
Do you work for adobe?
Thank you, Heidi
