first third of my video disappeared for no reason!

I created a video in Adobe Express (the web version on my Mac laptop, using Chrome) and then today I realized my downloaded file was missing the first third of the video. I went into AE to check and found that the video was missing that chunk there as well. I was able to go into version history, retrieve an earlier un-chopped version and then save the full thing again, but it was very unnerving and I see it's happened to other people too.

Thanks for sharing this — we completely understand how unsettling it is to unexpectedly lose part of your work.

We're glad you were able to recover the earlier version using the version history. To help avoid this in the future, we recommend regularly saving checkpoints during editing and checking that all content is fully loaded before exporting. If you ever notice content missing or changes you didn’t make, revisiting the version history as you did is a great first step.
