IOS App says update available then crashes

Community Beginner ,

Hi, recently when I'm working on something (iPhone express app) a box will pop up at the bottom saying an update is available, if I click Install, it will buffer then crash, if I close the box it will also crash after a few seconds. I've cleared cache, data, uninstalled, restarted, signed out and in again, and there's no app update in the App Store for express. I also cannot copy something from another file in express and paste to another which I've always been able to do. Very frustrating. Is there a fix or any advice for this? Thanks.

Exactly the same over here since early this morning (France time zone). The app is highly unstable almost impossible to use because it crashes every two minutes.

Thanx for helping, advising, fixing 🙏🏻

I'm having the same issue with the update available notification on the web version (I'm using Chrome). Every couple of minutes it pops up, closes the file I'm working on, then reopens Express with the message 'Something went wrong. We cannot access your document, but are working to resolve the issue. Please try again later'. When I refresh the page my file reopens. It's infuriating.

Hi @ruth_7676,

I’m sorry you’re experiencing these crashes—it must be frustrating. To help troubleshoot, please try restarting your iPhone, closing all background apps, and reinstalling Adobe Express.

Could you also share a few details so we can investigate further:

  • Exact iOS version and device model

  • Adobe Express app version

  • Are all your projects affected or only specific ones?

  • Can you provide a screen recording showing the crash or the copy-paste issue?

Sharing this info will allow our engineers to look into it more effectively.
