Missing Fit to Size and allowing us to move the whole canvas if its cut off.

Many times I cant see what im designing until I zoom out, make a way we can move the canvas left/right, and please make a fit to size button, so the canvas will be adjusted to fit the image, instead now im left with blank canvas on the sides, and have to manually guess the measurements.

In the Zoom menu there is a Fit To All option. If you have elements that extend over the canvas this view allows for that so you cna see the whole area. 

 

When zoomed in to a small area of the canvas have you tried holding down the space bar and clicking on the canvas? The cursor should change to hand, which then allows you to drag around the canvas to see different areas without having to zoom out.
