Exporting a logo with a transparent background.png results in a solid background, despite the correct processes being set.

Thanks @DanChorley

If you want to email me, that might work. I'll send you a private message with the email to send it to. Otherwise, any cloud storage option that I could access would work, like sync.com (free)

Happy to screen record if useful. What is the best mechanism for upload?

Thanks for following up @DanChorley

We'll do some testing on Android and see if we can reproduce the issue. If you reimport the image back into Express into a different project is the transparency gone?

Hey Dave, sorry for delay

Worked fine on desktop so I thought I was being an idiot, but I've just tried on mobile again and it's definitely an Android app issue (beta app).

Lack of transparency on the background despite the checkerboard.

Definitely exporting as transparent png

Hi @DanChorley

A couple of other questions:

- Where were you seeing a lack of transparency where you expected it to appear?
- When you exported, did you select the option for PNG with transparency?

I'm on an iPhone and saved an image with transparency to Camera Roll. Camera Roll doesn't show transparency for pictures but will display them with a white background. I opened a different project and re-imported my image with transparency back into Express from Camera Roll, and the transparent background was visible again. I wondered if you might be seeing something similar and expecting to see transparency in a place where it isn't displayed.

Thanks,
Dave

Yep, it was.

The checkerboard background indicating alpha / transparency was present, until trying to export when it reverted to a solid colour.

Hi @DanChorley

Please make sure your background color is set to "No fill" as shown in the screenshot below.
