My project froze during playback, refreshed page and it reverted to an old version

I'm pissed off...

I had been working on a video ad project all day yesterday, and it was fine. Auto saved, etc.

Opened that project up today, still fine. Made upates to it after team review. While watching on eof many playbacks, the program got stuck mid-playback (spinning wheel for a little while), so I decided to refresh the page. Something I do often enough and with no issue. When the program reappeared, it had reverted to an old/original version of just video footage - none of the graphics, text or effects applied, etc. I went to my projects and it is only showing this old/original version. WTF?!

 

I'm using Express on Chrome browser

  • Please check your project’s version history by clicking the three-dot menu (•••) on your project thumbnail > "View version history".

  • If available, you can restore a previous version with all your edits.

Also, could you let us know:

  • If you were logged into multiple devices?

  • Is your internet connection stable during the session?
