Replace asset error while downloading

I can’t download recently created visuals as this notification shows up, even though I'm an Adobe Express Premium Member.

Would very much appreciate some help as I cannot use the assets I created. Same issue as here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-express-bugs/error-quot-replace-asset-quot-while-downloading-png/idi-p/15211165

Hi @alicja_8863

The asset that we were unable to license should be selected after to click Replace. Did you try that?

If it didn't select anything, it may be inside a group (we have a known bug related to finding assets inside the group).

In the meantime, let me check your logs to see what it might be complaining about.

Hello, thanks for prompt response. It is a Facebook post format without audio or animations. I deleted all assets that I uploaded from my device but the problem persists. I'm trying to dowload in PNG, but PDF and JPEG don't work either. Happy to share.

Hi @Amitej S , thanks for coming back to me. The fonts are brand approved by my company and especially synced with AX. I have currently no blank layers that I can see. Do I need to replace all elements that are on my project in case one of them is no longer accessible?

Best,

Alicja

Thanks for providing the info! If there isn't a blank layer, replacing elements shouldn't make any difference. Removing any blank layers would generally resolve this issue. Does the project have any audio assets? What format are you trying to download the project in?

Also, please let us know if you'd like to share the project with us so we can investigate it.

Hey @alicja_8863, Welcome to our Adobe Express Community! Thanks for reaching out!

Such issues typically occur when an asset or font used in the project is no longer available—either due to a revoked license or because the owner has removed it for usage. To resolve this, try changing the font in your project and check for any blank layers. Blank layers may appear for assets such as stock images, videos, or design elements (shapes, drawings, etc.) that are no longer accessible.

Our team is also working on improving and streamlining the process of identifying such assets.

Until then, we appreciate your patience and support.

Best,
Amitej
