The new version is terrible.

First of all, i dont understand why you had to completely redesign Adobe Express as it was just fine the way it was, the new version lacks many features, such as creating collages, even though i am making a collage in the new version of Adobe Express, its only because i was able to transfer it from the old version to this one, the thing that frustrates me the most is, that when i create a collage of for example 5 photos, in the old version, i could zoom in the collage while viewing it in full screen (after downloading) and not see a tremendous decrease in image quality, in this new version, when i download my collage and zoom in, its super pixelated and just awful, another thing is that i no longer can swap images in the collage by dragging one image over the other. and lastly, its much more complicated to zoom in an image and get the result you want, in the old version, there was that slider which you used to zoom in and it was super simple. Please fix these issues as i still have a few collages i need to finish, or atleast let me use the older version of adobe express as that would fix all of these issues for me right away.

It's now telling me I need to update my version of IOS for the app to be supported. Is there really no way to go back to the (better) older version off the app which was supported? I don't have enough storage for the next IOS update!

Hey @Amelia37069504x5l2, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!!

I want to inform you that reverting to any previous Adobe Express version is not possible. To have a smooth experience, it is recommended that you keep the app updated as we roll out improvements and new features regularly.

Hope this helps!

Hey  @Amelia37069504x5l2

You may want to look under charts and grids.

Hi, thank you for the response. I just tried this, and searching collage maker didn't come up with anything, but the quick action worked. Whilst it's definitely better than nothing, my main issue with this feature is that you can only use a max of 9 photos, whereas I was used to being able to use about 30. It also crashed the app a number of times, and the pictures can't be swapped around in the same way as before. However, it's something, so whilst I would appreciate if it was updated to be more like the old version, it works for now.

Thanks,

Amelia

It's a 2020 one (8th gen I think?) The actual app is supported, it just doesn't have the 1 main feature I actually used anymore.

,

Could you please try using the search at the top to find Collage Maker and see if you can find it?  Also, in the Photo Quick Action, do you see Create Collage- https://adobe.ly/4gGJ1y4

Let us know if that helps.

For me it had updated on my phone but not my iPad, until today, so now I can't use it anymore! Like the og commenter, I used it to make collages, and it seems so unnecessary to have removed that feature. I guess I'll be finding another app.

I cannot express adequately how awful the new version of Express is.  It is a near complete redesign without improving on anything I have found, and it is much more difficult to perform what were simple things.  Working with any kind of copy (type) is a nightmare.  Whether the free version or the paid - makes no difference - if you're listening Adobe ... allow those of us who would prefer the old version - to do so.  Otherwise, I'm out of here.
