X/Twitter link shortener not working

X/Twitter has specifically designed link shortener function when posting so that long links can fit into the 280 character limit. This doesn't work at all on Adobe Express and is immensely frustrating and is causing me a lot of problems trying to fit the posts to work on Twitter....

Hey @defaultrnfvojfvb2eb for posting on Express, I'd suggest using a link shortener like Bit.ly or similar to get around this.
