Adobe Express - Edit speed of video - Needs more flexibility!

Community Beginner ,

Hi!
Very often, I want to change the speed of a video, but due to the 'glider"-setting, there's only choice between 100% - 50% or 25% (slower/faster). Most of the times, it isn't useful at all when slowing down the speed, as the video start being (very) shocking and blinking as the frames are moving too slow.

It would be a great help, if we could change the percentage of the speed manually. So we can find out which speed works best for a specific setting ....

Hi @lieven279755457yfo,

Thanks for sharing your feedback — we understand how frustrating it can be when the current speed options don’t give you the flexibility you need.

We’ve shared your suggestion with our engineering team: the ability to manually set video speed percentages would allow for smoother slow-motion effects and more precise control.

If you’d like to formally suggest this to our team so it can be prioritized in future updates, you can submit it here: 👉 https://adobe.ly/4ot9phS

In the meantime, you could try splitting the video into smaller sections and adjusting the speed individually for better results.

We really appreciate your input — it helps us improve Adobe Express!

Thanks for your fast reply !
I add the proposal to the forum 😉
(and I find out myself, that splitting a frame is indeed some kind of work-around. It doesn't cover the issue, but might be a nice alternative untill the engeneering team has made a better solution 😉

Hey @lieven279755457yfo

I agree have a few more options to choose from in terms of frame speed would be fantastic.
Thanks @mahmoud_5524  for letting the engineering team known and sharing the link.

cheers

Nate
