What is the point of Adobe Express if you've been using Adobe products for 30 yrs? Seems a toy for people who don't want to learn how to use real programs.

Different tools for differenct types of users.

Adobe Express is used by K-12 schools and social media content creators who don't need all the bells & whistles in pro-level tools like Photoshop, Illustrator or Premiere Pro.  For beginners, it's a budget-friendly intro into what Adobe tools can do.

Seasoned pros also use Adobe Express for convenience. With a few taps, you can quickly publish a one-page website, edit a short video and broadcast memes to all your social media channels.

Hi,

I think the point is that there are many Tools out there. Some have to be learned for e long time to master, some are easy. Some are programs on a Computer, some are Web based Ones. Everybody has other needs and as such not everybody need the same tools. So if you fine with the Adobe products for 30y thats perfect. It is not mandatory to use every Adobe product. Use the Tools YOU need.

It's a bit like a carpenter wanting to cut through a board. You can do this with a hand saw, a jigsaw, a circular saw, a laser cutter and perhaps a band saw. All paths lead to the destination. What you decide is up to you.

Hope that helps.

@PizzaPatron

I wouldn't call Adobe Express a toy or a not-real app, but I agree with you that it does not have the very deep learning curve that many of the other applications have.

If you don't see a need for it, then don't use it, but there is no reason to put it down for those who love it.
