Can Express recognize alpha channels in video footage?

Hello all,

I'd like to bring some custom videos into my Epxress projects that I've created with alpha channels. However, it does not appear that Express recognizes those alpha channels? It just shows them as "black" rather than transparent after I import them. Perhaps I'm missing something? Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi @jonm18318314,

Thank you for reaching out.

To better assist you, please provide more details about the file format of the custom videos you're trying to bring into Adobe Express. Additionally, if you could share one of the videos with us for testing purposes, it would help diagnose the issue accurately.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

1 Year on and wondering if there is any solution to importing video with an alpha channel. I want to import .mov or .webm into Adobe Express. I was really hoping to export out of Adobe After Effects into Adobe Express. Being both Adobe apps I thought this would be straight forward but maybe I'm asking a bit much.
