Hi I am editing a short video on adobe express. I wonder how many audio layers can I add. currently, I have two layers, the audio script, and the background music. I need another one to add some sound effect, but I don't know how to do that. can I add one more audio layer, or is the 2 limitation?
Hey @Tehmina359044755yrt, Thanks for posting on our Adobe Express Community!
As of now, Adobe Express allows you to add two audio layers to the project, and within these two layers, multiple audio files can be added (please refer to the screenshot). However, you can add a voice-over in addition to these audio layers.
If you're looking to add more audio layers to the project, feel free to add a feature suggestion to our product team directly. You can do so by posting here: https://adobe.ly/4nSaW23
...Thanks for posting the feature suggestion, @Tehmina359044755yrt. Until the feature is available in Adobe Express, you can try merging/layering the audio files using other Adobe applications, such as Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, or After Effects. Using these apps, you can create a single audio file from multiple and then utilize that.

Welcome to the community! We recently launched an update that supports multiple audio tracks so you can add voiceovers, music and sound effects! This update is now available on mobile and desktop.
To do this, once you add audio, go back to the media and try adding more audio's by selecting them from there. Let us know if that helps.

Hi , I am having the same issue where I am unable to add more than 2 audio layers in adobe express. But you have mentioned there is an update in April. Was it a regional update or across the world?
When I try to add the 3rd layer of audio, it says 'You have multiple audio assets in the same location. Delete or trim an asset to make space for your new asset.'
But I do not want to add the new asset on the exsisting audio layer but on a rather new layer. Please help. What should I do to fix this?
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I did not know you could add voice over as a third layer so that is good to know. But if I try to add my music on the voiceover layer it won't let me add any music or sounds effects on this third layer so it feels like this layer is strictly voiceover layer.
This leaves my original issue unresolved since I need more than 2 layers for music. Hence, I posted a feature suggestion for your product team on the provided link.
Thanks for your help.
