Question

Can't Use Fonts Downloaded from Adobe Fonts

Super odd issue and I've had this issue since the newer updates of Express. I can't use fonts that I get from the creative cloud and the ones I can't use have a weird symbol on them and are greyed out. I've been just relying on testing the fonts on adobe fonts and just copying them over. Hope someone has a fix for this!

I have gone through and checked out all of the normal fixes but none of them have worked. Resyncing, redownloading, etc.

Hi @Ghostdog559,

We're sorry to hear about this. To better assist you, can you please let us know if this is the only Adobe font you're having trouble with? Are you able to use other Adobe fonts? Can you try toggling off and on the Adobe fonts via the Creative Cloud Desktop app and check if that helps?

Check the screenshot below for reference-  open the Creative Cloud Desktop app > Click on the profile button on the right> click on Preferences.

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun

Hi @Tarun Saini

I am having the same issue that @Ghostdog559 was having with being able to access my fonts in Adobe Express. I have checked the settings in my preferences and toggled on and off, however it still doesn't seem to have made a difference.

Would you please be able to advise on another way?

Thank you

Chloe

Hi @Chloe32829516e742. We are here to help. Here's what you can try to resolve the problem:

  • Check Font Availability:

    • Ensure that the fonts you want to use are synced to your Creative Cloud account. You can check if the fonts are installed properly through the Creative Cloud desktop app.
  • Log Out and Log Back In:

    • Log out of Adobe Express and your Creative Cloud account, then log back in. This can help refresh the font syncing.
  • Ensure Proper Font Syncing:

    • Open the Creative Cloud app, go to the Fonts section, and verify that the fonts you need are listed as “Available.” If they're not, you may need to manually sync them.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please let me know, and we can explore further options! Thanks^CA
