Converted AVI to MP4 but playback of MP4 has no audio

Uploaded AVI file which was over 1 Gig.  Converted to MP4.  When I downloaded the MP4 video and played it, there was no audio.

Went into chat with tech and he asked me to zip the AVI file and upload it to the cloud to share it.  But it was taking so long and I had another commitment.  So I ended the chat with the tech and as I was getting ready to leave, the zip file finished uploading.  But I haven't contacted chat tech again since I returned. 

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?
