Question

Font background colour

I am new to this app and am trying to create a logo.  I have created one that seems to have a white crimpled background that I have managed to change to plain white.  However it will not allow any other colour changes.  I want the font in yellow and the background in black plus would like the ability to change to any colours I would like.  Most logos seems to have that apart from the one I chose.  Can anyone help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Amitej

Thank you so much for your response.
I have started from scratch again. I click on the logo and try to change the background. It shows as white but whatever colour I change it to it doesn't change the colour of the background.
I am very new to this so any help would be most welcome.
regards

Really hope you can tell me what I am doing wrong.
Kind regards

Hey @terry_9513, Your project has a white crumbled background image. You may need to remove the fourth layer (on your shared image), which shows a small shaded box just above the 'X' on the right side.

Once you remove the image layer, you'll be able to see the background color.

Hey @terry_9513, Welcome to our Adobe Express Community!!

Thanks for posting here!

This particular logo has an image layer set as background 'white crimpled', which you might have deleted. The next step would be to change the color of the text and the shapes used in the logo. To achieve that, you may need to click on individual text elements and shapes (rounded rectangles and lines) and change their color from the left side panel. Then finally you may need to change the background color to black from the top horizontal panel.

please refer to the screenshots attached,

Let me know if this helps!

Best,
