I recently removed the background on a photos (super pumped I just discovered Creative Cloud express!) But the hand got removed continues everytime I try and do this over! Anyone know if there's a way to fix this?

Hi TRK42,

Even if the hand gets removed you should be able to bring it back with the restore option I mentioned above. When you get into the screen in the second screen shot I posted above you can just paint back in whatever was removed you want to restore. The slider adjusts the size of the brush. In the screen shot I just brushed back a small area above her shoulder as an example. You'll want to do this over the area of the hand to bring it back. Please try this and let us know if it helps.

Thank you for the response. I originally tried on my PC. I just tried on my MacBook and the same hand gets eliminated. I have not had any other issues aside from this!

I'm not really sure how to remove the background in other Adobe apps (photoshop etc) but if you have a quick step by step I can try!

Thank you!

thank you! This totally worked!! This is a great program that I am just digging into, but it is making this novice "designer's" life easier!

If you're on web, you might try using the Edit Cutout option, which should appear if you select the layer after removing the background. With this option you can go back and restore parts of the image which were removed in error.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out; this shouldn't be happening.

Which platform are you working on (web, Android or iOS)? Could you try performing the task on a different device and see if it works fine there?

Also, Have you tried removing the background with other images? Do they appear fine after performing this action?

Note: If this is image specific issue, you may try removing the background in another Adobe app and then use it as per requirement.

Thanks,

Amitej
