Help with cropping individual video scenes, PLEASE

Hey Y'all,

I really need help with Adobe Express Premium regarding CROPPING videos, but only ONE SCENE at a time. I have a 46 second video of my Granddaughter's softball game that is a keeper. However I'm very far away from the action (to avoid the fencing around the field), and I need to crop so much of the extraneous surroundings to focus on the action around the bases. When I try to crop, the entire video get cropped and that's not good. I know there's a way to do it, but the explanation is terrible and I am brand new to Adobe Express! Long story short, wayyy too late I know, is there ANYONE who can help me? I'd appreciate is sooo much and wouldn't mind if you explained it to me like I'm a child 😂 Thanks in advance!!

Hi there! You’re doing great — happy to help!

In Adobe Express, the crop tool applies to the entire video, but you can crop individual scenes by splitting the video first. Here’s how:

Split the video: Move the playhead to where you want a new crop and click the scissors icon to split.
Select the scene you just split.
Crop that scene only — the crop will now apply just to that part.
Repeat for other parts of the video.
