I have created a PowerPoint presentation using several images I found on Adobe Express as well as some that I purchased from Adobe Stock.
In some cases, I created something myself in Adobe Express, starting from some stock media or assets available in the app. And in one case, I used two images licensed from Adobe Stock to create my own montage.
As I would like to cite these images correctly, I have the following questions:
--If the asset I am using in the PPT was found (and downloaded) on Adobe Express, but the CITATION INFORMATION available there mentions Adobe Stock (see screenshot), how should I correctly format the citation (Adobe Express or Adobe Stock??)?
--Would it be possible to simply create a list for the entire presentation, such as "Images from the following authors were used in this presentation: Oleksii, Kenneth Kiefer, wirakorn (Adobe Express); miemo (Adobe Stock)"???
Or should I simply name everything as Adobe Stock, as in:
“Adobe Stock images from the following authors were used in this presentation:
Oleksii, Kenneth Kiefer, wirakorn, miemo…”
???
Many thanks in advance!
J.G.

Hello @jgrau,
Thank you for your message.
If you are asking, what is required based on your agreement with Adobe, this answer explains that.
If you are asking how should a citation be represented in content you are creating, that depends on what style guide you use. It could be ALA, APA, Chicago or something else. Each of those have specific specifications for how to cite images. If you do not use a specific style guide, you are free to pick one and use it consistently.
On whether you refer to it as Adobe Stock or Adobe Express, you would use Adobe Stock.
Thanks,

So @droopydog500 , even if I got the image from Adobe Express, I should still cite it as Adobe Stock--right? (as in the screenshot I shared, which was such a case)
Thanks,
Janet

That is my recommendation, since they come from Adobe Stock.

Right, but I didn't purchase them there, but got them for "free" (part of my subscription) at Adobe Express. I wasn't sure if I needed to differentiate between images for which I paid for the license and images I found at Adobe Express.
Thx

@droopydog500 Do you know how I am to cite elements that I used in Adobe Express to create something, for example the attached image--question mark bubble by vadimstock (Adobe Stock)? Because the whole image isn't by him, but I used an element created by him, I was thinking of writing something like "Janet Grau, contains element by vadimstock – stock.adobe.com". I can't find such information on Adobe...
