Instagram carousel post with video and images

Hi all,

I am not able to create Instagram post which contains both images and videos. It accepts one type of assets only: video only or image only. 

But Instagram allows to create post which contains both type of assets. What to do?

Hi, if I'm not missing something, you can perfectly add both videos and images in the pages of your Express file, after clicking "Share", using the plus button, which is placed at the bottom right of the popup, you can point your file and select the pages you want to add from your Express file, regardless of their content being video or image. 

Let me know if I'm missing something and this doesn't help, so I can look for another solution or another expert can help. Happy designing!

I have selected 1 video and 2 image files, and it displays an error "Instagram accepts up to 10 images or 10 videos. To save your post, remove excess uploads." as you can see in screen (

Hmm I see, I think I'd try with some other video format, or a test post with some other files but using the same formats of video and images, change the order, to test and see if it's a problem that occurs only for these files, if you haven't tried these already.

Since you're having this problem with any group of files that contains both video & images, again if you haven't already, I'd try with a test account and then on another computer, you're welcome I wish I was more helpful let's see maybe someone had a similar problem might let us know. I'll be watching this thread since I'm also curious, having never heard about a similar issue.
