Photography Plan removed Adobe Express without any notification

I have been an Adobe customer (Photography Plan) for the past three years, using Adobe Express and Lightroom Classic extensively. Additionally, I’ve been an Adobe Insider since the stock price was $150.

I understand that Adobe made changes to the Photography Plan, and I have no issues with paying for the updated plan, as long as I get my money’s worth. However, removing Adobe Express from the Photography Plan without any prior notification is extremely disappointing. Worse yet, there wasn’t even an attempt to communicate this change to loyal customers like me. OR give me any opportunity to grandfather in my old plan

I have actively contributed to the Adobe community, including being part of the Discord group, sharing my inputs, and supporting others. Now, being forced to pay an additional $10 to access Adobe Express feels unfair and unreasonable.

This situation is both frustrating and disheartening.

This is also exactly what happened to me. I didn't receive an email about the price increase, Adobe Express being removed from my plan, or that my plan was even due to renew soon. It was an unpleasant surprise to realize that I now need to pay double what I did before to keep one app.

I don't know where these changes were announced, but they should have been stated in an email sent directly to people with plans who it was ging to affect. I really leaves me not wanting to use Adobe if I can avoid it.

I've been an annual subscriber for years and never received notice of the removal of Adobe Express until today when I received an email it was ending on May 25. It's still listed as a benefit of my plan.

Same here. I renewed before my plan expiry date from monthly payment to yearly payment. So for me I assume I keep the same plan, correct? I did first noticed that the number of web apps went down. What? I did see that Adobe Express is still on the available apps. Great, right? But, upon using it the premium features are all missing now. What?

I did receive an email with price increase notification and option to renew to annual payment. But no mention I will loose apps in the process. Adobe please fix this.

Hi @raymondf70517705

Thank you for your patience, our developers are aware of this and are currently working on a fix. Hopefully, it shouldn't be much longer

Changes to the plan were first announced Dec 15th, 2024. Adobe Express is removed for new subscribers to the photgraphy plan, or for those choosing the pay month to month plan.

I subscribe to the $9.99 plan, Annual, have been doing that for about 3 years, yearly, but pay monthly- and I still have Adobe Express.  I "signed" a contract saying I will pay for a year, but will be charged once each month.

Othe say "I will subscribe, but will only pay $9.99 (plus tax) a month"- the price increased for  those folks, AND AE was removed from their accounts unless the also pay for AE

Adobe Express is removed for new subscribers to the photgraphy plan, or for those choosing the pay month to month plan.

I believe not receiving notification could be due to the type of plan you have.  I never delete an Email- I archive them.  I never received any notification from adobe about the plan change (I checked all emails from adobe) - It did not affect me due to the type of subscription I have- didn't effect me, no need to send me any email.

Just to remove access to AE with any notification doesn't seem Kosher to me, however, the general public has known about the change since DEC 15th, 2024- a full month before the change.

I was on month to month photography plan. I switched to yearly (because of price increase) and and that's when I lost adobe express.

That is exactly what happened to me.  Had I known, I would have just canceled all of my plans.  I hate being taken advantage of this way.
