PNG download does not remove image background

When adding a person to my Instagram template, I remove the background. In the preview, the background is removed from an image (the man standing). However, when I download the project as a PNG, the background re-appears. I've also tried to download it as a JPG. Still the background re-appears. Any ideas on how I can fix this issue? It does not happen with everything I create. Thanks.

I am having the same problem.  It only happens when I have more than one 'background removed' item in my project.  My project will download with the topmost image rendered correctly, and any lower layers will either be completely invisible, or contain the entire image, including the background.

Screenshot of the adobe express project (how its supposed to look) vs file when its downloaded.  I get the same issue no matter the file type...jpg or png.  I am not using the app, I am on my hp laptop in a chrome browser.

I tried to replicate this on Adobe Express Webapp, but it worked fine for me. I was able to download the project as required. Let us know which platform you worked on (webapp, iOS, or Android), and if possible, share with us a screen recording of the workflow that you followed.

 

Also, would you be able to share this project with us so we can directly investigate the project and provide you with a solution?

If yes, let us know, and I'll then share the testing ID where you'd be sending the invite for this project.

I get this issue all the time.  I remove the background in express, but when I download it into a pdf the background reappears.  This happens on multiple projects I worked on.   Here is the same file downloaded as jpeg and a screenshot of the pdf.  It wouldn't allow me to insert a pdf so I did a screenshop instead.  How can I get this pdf to download without the background?
