Poor quality when exporting a video built with several video sequences

Dear all,

I have created an animation using some pictures and buttons animated as an intro and outro, and in between there are several video sequences. When testing, everything worked fine and the video sequences all looked good. Apart from that, that I had to often reload the window several times while working on the project, when exporting the file, the quality became very poor (pixelate video sequences), but not for all sequences and not in all files. And now, in Adobe Express itself, the video sequences became all of a sudden very poor when checking them on the time line.

There seems to be a limitation of how much data Adobe Express can handle; is my assumption true or what might be the reason? Is it only made for simple and short animations?

Thank you for any recommendation.

Best,

Janina

Hi @DigitalJanina,

Thank you for sharing your experience – we understand how frustrating quality issues can be.

To improve results, try breaking the project into smaller sections, ensuring video files meet recommended formats/resolutions, and restarting the app or clearing your cache before export.

We’d appreciate it if you could let us know whether these steps help or share any further feedback.

Best regards,

Dear @mahmoud_5524

Many thanks for your quick feedback and the recommendations provided.

I have tried the following steps with the topic of fuzzy video sequences / low quality sequences:

First, I have reloaded the app (which was like a restart), to see if the resolution improved, but it didn't help. Restarting only helped, when the draft I was just working on, was all of a sudden in a state of continuous looping (changing the immediate cut of a sequence) .

What helped for a better resolution was:

  • first, to reimport the media file(s) with the particular sequence that became fuzzy, and edit it once again (video recordings made with iPhone 12).
  • and with another file, it helped to duplicate the Adobe Express file I was working on and shorten the animation overall.

Going forward, I will keep your recommendations in mind and keep you posted, in case any new occurences come to the surface.

Many thanks and have a great day!

Janina
