PSD layers not showing in Adobe Express

I've tried importing several PSDs into Adobe Express so I could animate them for social but they're importing flat -- no layers. Tried converting each layer to a smart object before importing but that didn't solve the problem. Any ideas?

Id like to know this as well. Can image edges be faded in express?

Hi,

If you import the PSD file from the Express home page using the "Start from your content" button, you should end up with editable layers.

Adding a PSD to an existing Express file inside the editor will lead to the "linked asset" behavior you see, where the PSD shows up as a "flat" object inside Express, but can be edited in Photoshop (and the changes are synchronzied back)

We wanted to try combining successive PSDs so we could animate the elements and wind up with a video. Can that be done or are we dreaming?
