I used the remove background button to remove a background from a clip I have. It worked well but the background it replaced is now just a white background. This doesn't help me because I need to now put the video into premiere and use an ultra key to remove the white. And the Ultra Key won't work because I'm wearing the white shirt, and the whites of my eyes are the same color of white as the replacement background.
Isn't the standard in the industry a green background?
Is there any way to choose what color you what the replacement background to be? Thanks

Can you please provide a before and after screenshot, and also share exactly what method of removing the background you are using? Or bonus points, a screen recording of the whole issue?

When you have removed the background of your video go to the top of your project and change the background colour to green. MP4 videos do not support transparency; they always have to have a background so Adobe Express will always use the background colour. Removing the background in Adobe Express allows layering of videos over coloured backgrounds/images and other videos but the MP4 limitation always means there has to be something in the background.

Hello @ogi28377400fqxv thanks for the tip but that's not quite right. To get a transparent background you go to Background colour and choose No Fill, which allows for transparent PNG download. However, as I said above:
