Question

Text Not Transferring Properly to PDF

Whe I create a project with text in Adobe Creative Cloud Express and download it as a PDF, some of the text will be changed to have no spaces in between words.  Example- I love Adobe but downloaded into a PDF, it would say Ilove Adobe.  It does this to several pages.  Anything I can do?  I have a project to print ASAP!

Thank you all!

Hey @alyav, welcome to our community!

Thanks for posting this. Our team is aware of the limitations of some languages and font types, which can lead to issues while exporting as PDF. We'll let you know once there's any update for this.

Until then, we appreciate your patience and support.

As a workaround, you can try exporting the project as a JPG/PNG and then converting it to PDF using the Convert to PDF quick action.

Hope this helps!

Best!

I also experienced this issue. All the text was centered on the document. The only difference between the text that showed up correctly and the one that didn't is the messed up one was set as Dynamic text layout.

I've attached a screenshot of it in Adobe as well as the PDF downloaded version of same item. You can see the title becomes off-centered.

Having the same issue.    Using source sans 3.  Its only happening on some parts of the document and not others.

Hi Raven,

Thanks for writing to us; this isn't how Adobe express generally operates. Would you mind telling us which font are you using, and is this happening with all fonts or a specific one? Also, is this issue restricted to just one project, or does it occurs to other projects too?

You could try this workaround so your task doesn't get hampered.

  • Download the project as a JPG file, then use Quick actions of Adobe Express to convert that JPG file to a PDF file. You can also use other adobe apps.

You may also try downloading from an incognito mode or after clearing the cache/cookies of your browser. You can also try downloading as a pdf operation from a different browser.

Let us know about your findings.

Hi Amitej, thank you for your reply!  The font is Source Serif 4 Display in 7 pt and it seems thats the only font that does it- and not in every project!  Just a few!  I have a 41 page project going and this issue happened on 7 pages.  As far as JPG to PDF, that would be fine but the JPG download is very blurry!  I will try the incognito mode and different browser next.  I'll keep you posted and thanks again!

I am currently experiencing the same issue. Bebas Kai Regular is not moving. Gilbert Bold size 18 is moving. I'm using MS Edge. It looks like this when I try to download a PDF:
