Using Multiple Languages

I'm a sign maker and I need to make some that are in multiple languages (same message in 3 different languages). Are there any tips or tricks on how to do that?

Keep it simple - Choose short, concise messages that will be easy to translate and fit nicely on the sign. Avoid long sentences or complex wording.

Prioritize key info - Focus on the most important words or phrases that need to be conveyed, and keep additional text to a minimum. This will make translation cleaner.

Use a translation service - To ensure accurate translations, use a professional translation service. Machine translators like Google Translate may work for simple phrases, but are less reliable for capturing nuance.

Proofread carefully - Double check all translated text for typos, formatting issues, and incorrect translations. Have a native speaker proofread if possible.

Print mirrored versions - For reversible signs, be sure to flip or mirror the translations so text reads correctly on both sides.

Hi @David2375116128bn,

 

The easiest way I could think of is by creating one sign that you're satisfied with and duplicating the project, changing the text language in the duplicates.

 

It would maintain the same font and design throughout.

    Hi @maveryck42,

     

    Thank you for joining the thread.

    When duplicating, the language will not change automatically. To achieve this, you must duplicate the content and manually edit the text.

    For instance, if you have a sign that says "Thanks!" and you want the same message in German, you would duplicate the original project on Adobe Express, search for the equivalent German text with the same meaning on Google (e.g., "Danke!"), and then manually replace the text in the duplicated content.
