Video file not supported?

New Here ,
Feb 14, 2022 Feb 14, 2022

Trying to upload a video in Creative Cloud Express. Format is .MP4 but when I try to upload it says it is not correct format? Suggests saving it as .MP4 - which it already is.

Hi Joellenm,

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. A few related questions:
- Does it happen with all mp4 files or just this one?

- Is the mp4 file one which was created by an Adobe product?

- Would it be possible to upload the .mp4 here https://assets.adobe.com/files and share a link for others to test it as well?

Thanks,

Dave

Thank you. I did read through the thread. The issues sound exactly like mine. However, I work for a bank and connot download any freeware. I do have an Adobe Creative Cloud account. The video I am trying to work with was downloaded from a stock photo service. I simply wanted to add my logo to the video and was trying to use Adobe Creative Express as I just subscribed to the product.

Thank you the additional details. Would it possible to share a link to the mp4 file that you're having difficuties with and uploaded with me privately to test? If you click on my forum picture it should take you to my profile page which has an option send me a message. Please send me a link to download your mp4 there and I'll try reproducing the issue from my side. Thanks

Hello,

I am having this exact same issue. Every time I try to upload a mp4 file to the video section it keeps telling me that the file type is unsupported adnthat it needs to be a mp4 file. Which it is. The videos are both my original work and from free stock video sources.

Hi there, sorry to hear about your difficulties. If you're having difficulties with specific files it may related to the software which was used to create them. This thread has some workarounds which may help: https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-express-discussions/creative-cloud-express-on-web-says...

Same Issue. New laptop, licensed subscription to CC, created the .mp4 file on Premier Pro and getting the same error message when trying to upload into CC folder. I have 95 gb of space in my ac. Can anyone have a look? Attaching the practice file. Thanks!

This is also happening to me.  It says "some filetype not supported" when I try to upload any of my mp4s.
