I have created a video from photos and clips from other videos set to an audio track. The timeline is 5:11; it will not download. It errors and says Download Failed
An error occurred while downloading your file. Please try again.
I have rebooted my laptop, signed out of Adobe and signed back in. I tried several times to download, and it fails. I can't even upload to Google Drive or Dropbox Box. That fails, too.
Hey @adaptable_Echo0137, Thanks for posting here! I'd like to inform you that such issues generally arises when there's any asset ot font used in the project whose license is revoked or the owner decided to no longer share it for usage.
You can try changing the font you've used in the project and look for blank layers to remove. Blank layers would show up for assets (stock images, videos, audios, design assets like shapes, drawings, elements, etc) if they are no longer available for use.

Hi
@lisa_1220,
Welcome to the community! We're sorry to hear about this. Did you use any text on the video? Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?
Also, try clearing the browser's cache and cookies, and restarting the browser and try again. For more information on how to clear cache and cookies check this link- https://adobe.ly/4a5ipUF and how to use incognito mode- https://adobe.ly/4a2UzZV
If that doesn't help, can you please share the project URL with us via private message with edit access to investigate further?
Regards,
Tarun

Our team is working on making finding such assets easy and streamlining the process. Until we achieve this, we'd appreciate your patience and support.
Thanks!

Try clearing your media cache, exporting in a different format, or turning off hardware acceleration. Also, make sure your app is up to date and you have enough storage.
If it keeps failing, you can try using a third-party tool like vidmateapps.net — it’s handy for quick video edits and downloads. Hope that helps!

Hi @lisa_1220. Thanks for reaching out, and sorry you’re running into this issue. Even if you’re not using Adobe fonts or stock assets, there are a few things that might help:
Check for hidden or blank layers: Sometimes invisible or empty layers can cause export issues. Go through your timeline and delete any layers that don’t show a preview or seem empty.
Duplicate the project: Try exporting the copy, this can sometimes bypass hidden glitches.
Split the video: If your project is long or complex, try splitting it into two parts, export each separately, then combine them in a new project and export again.
Try a different browser or incognito mode: Even if you’ve cleared your cache, browser extensions or cookies can interfere. Try using Chrome, Edge, or Firefox in incognito/private mode, and disable any extensions temporarily.
Check your media files: Make sure all your images, videos, and audio files are in supported formats (like MP4, JPG, PNG, MP3) and that none are corrupted or unusually large.
If none of these steps work, feel free to share your project URL (privately), the browser and device you're using, and any specific error messages you're seeing. We are here to help, and we can escalate it to engineering if needed.
Thanks again for your patience!
Best,
Chaimaa
