Where did my Spark projects go?

I've always worked with pleasure in Adobe Spark. Today, when I opened the Web App, all my projects are gone!

The only things that have changed from the last time I logged in (besides Spark now being Express) is that I changed my email address.

Things I've tried thus far:

- Logging out, closing the browser, rebooting, and loggin in again
- Using a private / incognito window.

Both made no difference.

Any help in recovering my projects would be mnuch appreciated. I'd hate to recreate all that lost work. 😢

Hi Potherca,

Hi there,

Sorry for the trouble. Can you please try logging in with the same email/user id under which you had all your projectsand check if you can access them. We ask because your projects are tied to your login method. For example, if you create a project with a Facebook login, then access Creative Cloud Express with Google, you will effectively have made a new account with new/different projects. The same idea would apply if you logged in with two different Gmail addresses.

If that does not work then try duplicating the project and try again? Also, would you be able to try again on another networl/wifi? Check if this works, if no then please send us the URL to that project so we can investigate it?

Thanks,

Manmeet

I am also having issues locating the files to previous Spark projects. When I click on the links to the published files there is a 404 error and I can't see them at all under "My Stuff". In "My Stuff" it also doesn't give me the option to see projects created with previous versions. I have the same email address but my organization switched us over to SSO. I've logged in both via "personal" and "organization" and the files aren't under either.

I can't find my Spark projects listed under my Adobe Creative Cloud login. Here's one of the projects I created that has since been moved to an Adobe Express url: https://express.adobe.com/page/NNhvPv5Q9vaiy/ How can I access my files?

I found this thread today when trying to determine how to heck to get Spark Page working correctly on my iPad - because Adobe's chat support did nothing for me except to waste an hour of my time. Over the past three days, at different times, I've opened up my PAID version of Spark Page only to find that while the project appear in a list, the only thing that shows when I try to edit them is the title and background photo. Adobe had me delete the app, restart the iPad, and re-download/install it - which works sometimes but not always. (And I could always see the full projects on my iPhone even when I couldn't on the iPad, so it's not my account.) I finally gave up on Adobe when they a) sent me a link to the page to tell me how to create new projects, and b) then said "it must be your internet connection."

Can anyone from Adobe actually help with this?

Someone help! I just recently updated the "Adobe Express" app and all my projects are gone. I've used Adobe Spark & now Express for a few years now and this has never happened before. I tried logging out and back in & still didn't work. What can I do??

Hi Angel,

Please check if you have the same email/user id under which you had all your projects. Please be informed that your projects are tied to your login method. Here is an example, if you create a project with a Facebook login, then access Adobe Express with Google, you will effectively have made a new account with new/different projects. The same idea would apply if you logged in with two different Gmail addresses.

Thanks

Same problem, I have not used any other accounts, just this one, and all of my projects are gone.

Some additional questions which may help us better understand this issue?

  • Were the missing projects created with Spark or Adobe Express?
  • What is the time between when you last accessed your projects and noticed them missing?
  • Are you using the same computer/mobile device used previously when accessing your projects?

Some troubleshooting that may help

  • Try accessing them from a different device, if you are on your phone test from a computer or vice versa or test from a different computer
  • Try accessing them from several different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, etc.)

- Adobe Spark
- I think maybe a few days or a week max.

- Yes. I have a Spark app and then I use my work laptop to access Spark, the projects cannot be accessed on either device.

Now I tried accessing with Firefox and the projects were visible. Not in Chrome still though.

Hi Carin,

We hope that the above steps shall help you to retrieve your projects. Please try the steps once and also check if you have the same account for logging in to your account? If that doesn't do the trick, please write us back with any observations. We will assist you further.

Thanks

Hi Manmeet,

I'm having a different issue. I can see few projects but not all. I really need my latest project. Please please help me. I only used email as my login. I also tried Google account. It just connected to my email. But I can't find the projects.

Here's the link to the old Spark page: https://spark.adobe.com/page/isUjHk3CIjRdO/

I am having the same problem.  I haven't changed anything except that I have a new computer.  When I go into Adobe creative cloud none of my projects show up!

Hi Wendy,

I hope this will help. Clearing browser cache and then logging in using a new "Incognito" (Chrome), "Private" (Safari), or a similar window. Projects should be available usually afterward. You can try reinstalling the app, signing out of the app, and then signing back in. Try checking these things and report back with any observations. Thanks for your patience in resolving this problem.

Thanks

I am having the same issue, but I have only logged in with one email, and I have not changed anything, I tried the innognito page. I have a spark page and a spark video, and I can't find them. Please help.

Hi!

Using a different login method worked. Thank you very much!

Looks like I was logged in through my Adobe account (where my email address was changed) but apparently I originally signed in using Google (not my Google email address).

I tried several differnt login methods and when I tried logging in through Google, all my projects were there!

Many thanks!
