Why are image placeholder (frames) still missing?

Hello,

Any ideas on when a placeholder option will be available to quickly insert a picture into a shape? Has Adobe released any information regarding this issue?

I am still having trouble to figure out why such a basic and essential thing is still  on Express.

Hello, as far as I know that's not possible with the existing features but there's an add-on and a workaround to create clipping masks, in these two tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvdaV8mauoI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVwKmje1ljM  Also, you can vote for one or more of these feature requests: https://adobeexpress.uservoice.com/forums/951181-adobe-express?query=masking%20images

This feature ('Frames' within Canva) needs to be added to Adobe. It's a go-to feature within Canva.

I'm so frustrated that I can't do this within Express. It's not that difficult and can add a lot to the program.

Hello, Thank you for your answer. Will defintely try this workaround. I just voted for the feature request as well, but I'm still baffled such a basic, critical feature hasn't been included before, especially consdering it is an essential feature on competitor platforms like Canva.
