P: History of Previous Generated Images

I want to check the previous images I generated, but Adobe Firefly doesn't have a history or a section of recently generated images. In other AI image generators, you can go back to the previous images you generated. Please provide a section in Adobe Firefly where we can review the past images we generated.

Thanks for suggesting! This is definitely a highly requested feature. You can use your browser's back button to see previous generated images for now. (Merging all requests for this feature here so we can track the demandd for it)

In case you haven't seen, we have taken a first step in creating features that are highly requested. In the latest release, we added a Favorites page to save your favorite images. There are several limitations for this release:

    • This will be saved to the local browser and is not connected to an individual's CC Library yet.
    • Favorites will not persist when switching to a different browser or using an incognito browser
    • Only works for Text to Image and Text Effect modules
    • Favoriting images using

@Melodic_loyalty5CDA This is a great idea! I've shared it with the team. In the meantime, please check out how to save your generation for Text to image and Text effects here: https://helpx.adobe.com/firefly/using/whats-new/2024.html#save-to-library

It would be nice if Adobe Firefly saved your prompt history like Chat GPT does. I would like to edit some of my previous prompts that I have used on earlier versions to see how the results have improved.  Please add this feature!

@Melodic_loyalty5CDA

Totally understand your request. One thing that I have taken upon myself is to copy the link and post the link into Google or some other document.

I also take a screenshot to remind myself what image that is linked to the link. It's a work around... for now.

Cheers.
O. Nate

Keep the good work, Adobe team! :party_popper:Really appreciate the effort to add the History feature. Using back button on the browser is indeed good short solution but it's too fulnerable bcs its no where in the cloud/local and can be terminated/erased whenever the tab is closed.

I have been actively using Adobe Firefly and truly appreciate its capabilities in generating creative visuals. However, I believe there is a feature that would greatly enhance the user experience.

It would be incredibly helpful if Firefly could save the history of previous work, including prompts and generated images, much like how other tools, such as ChatGPT, maintain a history of conversations. This would allow users to easily return to their previous creations and continue reworking or refining them without having to start from scratch.

This feature would save time and improve workflow efficiency, especially for ongoing projects that require multiple iterations.

Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I look forward to seeing the continued evolution of Firefly!

Yeah, I'm going to have to re-generate things that I got copies that were too low res.  It would be nice to go back and get what I had though.

It would be great if ones promts could be saved/logged. Sometimes you write a prompt that works great and then you'll try to write a similar next time but the output will be totally different. It would be nice to go back an look/learn from your past successful ones 🙂
