Hi All
New to Firefly. I'm instructed by my bosses to test Firefly's capabilities with food photography. I'm getting good results from Midjourney. Is there anyone getting good results here? [weblink removed as per forum guidelines]

You can certainly get great results with Firefly. The copyright hazards of Midjourney are possibly less with food photography than other fields, but for a corporation it can become very important. I'd say offhand that food items are perhaps the easiest to get usable results with. Firefly works more with visual input, so Midjourney prompt habits and tricks don't carry over very well. When you try it out, keep in mind that it is its own thing.
It's worth noting that Adobe Stock now has a feature

It's worth noting that Adobe Stock now has a feature that allows the buyer to customize a stock image using Generative AI.

Great to hear you're testing Firefly for food photography! I’ve been exploring it as well, especially to see how it stacks up against Midjourney. While Midjourney tends to deliver strong, stylized results with vibrant lighting, Firefly feels more brand-safe and consistent—especially when used within Adobe’s ecosystem.
I’ve had decent results generating fast food items like burgers and . The layered outputs and Adobe Stock integration make it really useful for content that needs post-editing or versioning.
It’s definitely worth experimenting with different prompt styles—what works in Midjourney doesn’t always carry over to Firefly. Looking forward to seeing how others are using it for food promptography. Steve Deer’s portfolio is a great example of where this tech is headed!

I’ve been exploring both Midjourney and Adobe Firefly for food photography. Here’s what I’ve found:
Firefly delivers clean, brand-safe images—great for polished product visuals. It integrates seamlessly with Creative Cloud, which is invaluable for post-editing workflows.
Midjourney shines in creative flair, producing rich lighting and atmosphere, though sometimes at the cost of clarity or accuracy.
Keep in mind Firefly requires different prompting techniques, and Midjourney strategies don’t always translate.
One limitation I noticed: Firefly struggles with human elements, such as realistic hands or cutlery—best reserved for food-only compositions.
That said, many users report consistent quality and speed, and Adobe’s promise of copyright-safe outputs is a huge plus for enterprise use.
In short—Firefly is ideal for clean, editable results integrated into Adobe workflows, while Midjourney remains the go-to for mood and creativity.
Excited to see how others are using Firefly for food promptography—Steve Deer’s portfolio is such a great benchmark.

I’ve tested both Midjourney and Firefly for food photography. Midjourney gives a very artistic vibe, while Firefly’s results feel cleaner and more “menu-ready,” which works well for restaurant branding. For example, when I was working on a digital restaurant menu project, I used Firefly for the base images and then refined them in Photoshop to match the layout style shown; this helped me keep the look consistent across desktop and mobile. Curious to know if anyone else here has tried combining Firefly output with Photoshop edits for more realistic food shots?
