How to Purchase Credits for generative AI

New Here ,
Dec 10, 2024 Dec 10, 2024

I am currently subsribed to Creative Cloud Photography plan with 1TB. I want to increase or purchase more credits outside my currently available 500 per month. I don't see a straightforward way to do this, nor does the button called buy credits in the Creattive Cloud app work.

Do you presently have credits that you can use? I'm working if the greyed out button becomes active when you actually run out of credits.

Hello @shanaka_8596,

Thank you for your question.

If you have a creative cloud plan, when you run out of credits, you can keep generating, but the speed of generation might slow down (until you get your next set of monthly credits). The only plans that can currently buy more credits are the ones that are cut off when they run out of credits.  This is detailed in questions 9 and 10 in this FAQ document: Generative credits FAQ.

My best,

This is not exactly a stock question. I will move this to the Firefly forum that deals with Firefly.

I have an Adobe paid Creative Cloud account and have used up my generative credits (1200 allowed), and my monthly amount won't reset until 2/26/2025 - over two weeks away. I have been looking at the process for obtaining additional generative credits, but all I keep finsding is the info below stating that I "won't be subject to generative credit limits" for  limited time. However, now when I attempt to use AI I get an error message that I have used my credits and I need to wait until next month or update to the latest version of Photosop. An update isn't appropriate as I have a paid CC account already and I am running the latest version of all apps. So I am unclear on how I can get more credits to continue my work.

It appears that the 'limited time' is over but there is no infomrtion on how we can move forward from here... other than just wait it out.

For a limited time, Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, and Adobe Stock paid subscribers won't be subject to generative credit limits and can continue creating beyond their plan-specific monthly credit limit to create vector graphics or standard resolution images

Hello @davida88198906,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Are you on an enterprise, teams, or school plan or do you have a personal subscription?

Thanks,
