Remove "Depth of Field“?

Participant ,
Oct 12, 2023 Oct 12, 2023

Hi 🙂

If I create an image in Firefly, everytime is a blurry Background visible (Depht of Field)...

Is there a possibility to make a complete sharp Image without Depht of Field? Which Promt I have to use in this Case? ("no Depht of Field" don't work)...

Hi @Christian1979 ,

Try changing the aperture settings per the screenshot. It's not perfect, but may help you get done what you're trying to achieve.

@Christian1979  Can you share a screenshot of your screen and the results you're seeing?

This is not what the problem solve... a Wideangle look much different, than a normal Perspective...

Is there another way to get a complete sharp picture?

Hmm.. I tried a few prompts and still got some depth of field. I might ask that you create an idea here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-firefly/ct-p/ct-adobe-firefly?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter...

It seems it's only possible to create Images with "Depht of Field" with Firefly...

Please give us a possibility to create complete sharp Images without "Depht of Field"!

Hi @Christian1979 ,

It's definitely not perfect, so it works sometimes and not other times.

The workaround would be to remover the background from the model.

Then generate the background separately.

Then place the two images in a layer heirarchy in Photoshop.

I have resolved. Apparently the 'Art' to module II doesn't whole the settings, and am prone to toggling between the two. Sorry about me making a confusion.

@mj Oh Em Gee. I completely spaced that was a feature because I couldn't find it.

@Christian1979 I'm so sorry. If you can't find it, like me, make sure you're in Firefly Image 2 >  Selected Photo as your "Content type" >  Photo setting.

Hi @Christian1979,

Generate the subject and background separately. Remove the background on the subject and then overlay the 2 gens in Photoshop, if you're not getting the results you want.

Let us know how you go.
