Use Adobe Firefly to Generate Your Images

O boneco Robert é um boneco de marinheiro que pertenceu ao pintor e escritor Robert Eugene Otto, de Key West, Flórida. Segundo a lenda, o boneco é assombrado. 

A história do boneco começa em 1906, quando a família Otto se muda para Key West. Uma empregada das Bahamas, cansada de sofrer maus-tratos, presenteia o filho mais novo da família com o boneco. O menino, Eugene, apaixona-se pelo brinquedo e começa a chamá-lo de Robert. Os pais de Eugene percebem que ele conversa com o boneco e ouvem alguém responder. 

O boneco Robert é exibido no museu East Martello. O mito sobrenatural ainda vive, e milhares de cartas chegam anualmente para Robert, onde pessoas pedem perdão por tê-lo desrespeitado e imploram para que a maldição que foi jogada seja retirada.
