1. Paneles solares:

• Material: Generalmente, serán de silicio cristalino o perovskita, conocidos por su eficiencia y durabilidad.

2. Módulo de condensación:

• Descripción: Es un componente esencial en el que ocurre la recolección de agua. El aire pasa a través de este módulo, que contiene un intercambiador de calor que enfría el aire, provocando la condensación del vapor de agua.
• Aspecto: Una estructura cilíndrica o rectangular, compacta, de unos 50 cm de alto, hecha de metal y revestida con materiales no corrosivos.
• Funcionamiento: Ventiladores integrados, alimentados por energía solar, aspiran el aire hacia adentro, donde pasa por bobinas enfriadas que hacen que el vapor de agua se convierta en gotas que luego se canalizan.

3. Recipiente de almacenamiento de agua:

• Capacidad: Un tanque de almacenamiento de agua de entre 20 y 50 litros, dependiendo de la necesidad.
• Material: Hecho de plástico reciclable o acero inoxidable para garantizar que el agua almacenada se mantenga libre de contaminantes.
• Ubicación: Este tanque estará en la parte inferior del dispositivo, debajo del módulo de condensación, para recolectar y almacenar el agua condensada.

4. Sistema de purificación de agua:

• Descripción: Un pequeño filtro de agua montado justo antes del depósito de almacenamiento, que puede incluir:
  • Filtros de carbono para eliminar impurezas y posibles contaminantes.
  • Sistema UV montado cerca del grifo para desinfectar el agua antes de su consumo.
• Tamaño: Compacto, con un diámetro de aproximadamente 10 cm, ubicado dentro del sistema para evitar la exposición.

5. Ventilador y sensores de humedad:

• Ventiladores: Pequeños pero potentes, localizados cerca del módulo de condensación para forzar el paso del aire a través de él.
• Sensores: Integrados en el sistema para monitorear la humedad ambiental y optimizar la cantidad de aire que se filtra a través del condensador.
• Ubicación: Los ventiladores se colocarán en los laterales del dispositivo, y los sensores estarán distribuidos alrededor del mismo para obtener lecturas precisas.

6. Estructura general:

• Tamaño y forma: El dispositivo sería una caja o cilindro compacto, de aproximadamente 1,5 metros de alto y 60 cm de ancho.
• Movilidad: Montado sobre una base con ruedas o patas ajustables para facilitar su transporte y asegurar estabilidad en terrenos irregulares.
• Material exterior: Recubierto con materiales resistentes a la intemperie, como plástico resistente a UV o aleaciones de aluminio, para asegurar su durabilidad en exteriores.

7. Panel de control y monitoreo:

• Pantalla pequeña ubicada en un lateral para mostrar datos como la cantidad de agua recolectada, niveles de energía solar, y el estado del filtro.
• Botones de ajuste para que los usuarios puedan activar manualmente el sistema, verificar los sensores, o apagar el dispositivo.

The design brief should be in the middle and read as follows: Design a solution to enhance the patient journey, catering to personlised care and support for each patient

Initial thoughts: Patients have diverse needs. Privacy limitations. Too many different patients. Healthcare is very regulated.

• Assumptions: Patients will always want more, where do we draw the line. Different stakeholder buy in can be difficult. 

Experience: Person-central care, should cater to this. We have Patients who always return, this surely shows we are doing something right.

• Questions: Timeline? Is there enough resources and budget? What kind of support?Are we designing for a specific age group with specific needs? Will we focus on admitted patients or casualties?
