Adobe Fonts in web projects - host locally

Hello everyone, I have a question about Adobe Fonts.

How can I integrate Adobe Fonts into a website so that they are hosted locally? Usually, I upload the fonts (e.g., Google Fonts) to my server, and they are then loaded from there rather than via Google itself, due to GDPR.

I can integrate Adobe fonts into my website via API, but they are only loaded if I give my consent in my cookie consent banner. This means that if I do not give my consent, the font is not loaded and a fallback font appears.

Is there a solution to this problem? Or am I going about this the wrong way?

I really appreciate your assistance. However, I believe there may have been a misunderstanding regarding my original question.

I was hoping to find out whether it’s possible – both technically and from a licensing perspective – to host Adobe Fonts locally on my own web server, in order to avoid external connections to Adobe servers. My main concern here is GDPR compliance, particularly avoiding the need for cookie consent banners when loading web fonts.

The linked article refers to using Adobe Fonts in a local development environment, which is helpful during the design process – but in the live version of the website, the fonts are still being loaded from Adobe’s servers.

A bit of background:
I use WordPress together with the Elementor page builder. Elementor allows uploading custom fonts that are then stored and served locally from the website’s own server. This is a common approach for GDPR-compliant use of Google Fonts, and I would like to apply the same method with Adobe Fonts if possible.

My questions:
Is it permitted under the Adobe Fonts license to download and host Adobe Fonts locally on my own server (e.g., by uploading them as custom fonts in Elementor)?

If not: Is there any way to use Adobe Fonts in a GDPR-compliant manner without requiring prior user consent, e.g., without loading them from external servers?

And if local hosting is allowed with a different type of license: Where can I obtain the appropriate web font files (e.g., .woff2) for that purpose?

I hope you're doing well. I'm sorry for the delay. I'd like to inform you that it's not allowed to host the fonts locally.

As a workaround, you could purchase web licenses from the respective foundries directly.
